Everything in the Ramayana is Holy-Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
Look, mother, India has everything you want - hot summers, great winters, heavy rains, beautiful autumn and spring, everything. I see in the Deccan-- the transparent, virtuous Godavari is constantly flowing towards the sea with the sound of two shores filled with two shores - what a holy river! As soon as I see or think of Panchabati in the Ramayana, I see in my mind's eye those three - Rama, Lakshmana and Sita, leaving all kingdoms and possessions, happily, happily, spending time on the Godavari with heavenly bliss - and we are constantly burning in worldly misery. I see that Punyasalila Jahnavi is carrying Salilvar-- again I remember a scene from Ramayana. Then I see that sacred tapoban of Balmiki-- day and night the sacred voice of Maharshi is uttered in the sacred Bedamantra-- I see the old Maharshi sitting in the ajinasana-- under his feet two disciples-- Kush and Lob-- Maharshi are teaching them. Attracted by the sacred sound, the serpent of the crew loses its venom, lifts the hood and silently listens to the recitation of mantras ... Everything in the Ramayana is sacred - even the description of the little grass is sacred, but alas! We no longer understand that holiness as apostasy. "
