এ সিনড্রোম হলো এক ধরণের বিশেষ মানসিক পরিস্থিতি যখন কোন ভুক্তভোগী ব্যক্তি অজ্ঞাত কারণে অপরাধীর প্রতি ধীরেধীরে সহানুভূতি প্রকাশ করতে শুরু করে। তাদের ভালোবাসতে শুরু করে। এই পরিস্থিতিতে ওই ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ ব্যক্তির মধ্যে এমন সব মানসিক উপসর্গ লক্ষ্য করা যায় যেটা খুবই বিরল। লাঞ্চিত ব্যক্তিটি অপরাধীর প্রতি অত্যন্ত দুর্বল এবং আবেগতাড়িত হয়ে যায়। সে অপরাধী ব্যক্তিটির অপরাধ গোপন করতে উদ্বিগ্ন হয়ে যায়। এসময়ে সেই নির্যাতিত ব্যক্তি অপরাধীকে আর অপরাধী হিসেবে মনে করে না। অনেক সময়ে বিয়েও করে ফেলে সংসার শুরু করে। ১৯৭৩ সালের ২৩ অগাস্ট স্টকহোমের একটি ব্যস্ততম ব্যাংক (Kreditbanken), যে ব্যাংকটির বর্তমান নাম নরডিয়া ব্যাংক (Nordea Bank)। এ ব্যাংকে একজন অস্ত্রধারী দুর্বৃত্ত হামলা করে । তার নাম ছিলো Jan-Erik Olsson, তিনি একজন পেশাদার অপরাধী। বিভিন্ন অপরাধে পূর্বেও তিনি অনেকবার জেলে গিয়েছিলেন। তিনি মুখে মুখোশ পরে একটি সাব-মেশিনগান জ্যাকেটের ভেতরে নিয়ে প্রবেশ করেন। ব্যাংকে ঢুকে প্রথমেই তিনি চারজন ব্যাংক কর্মকর্তাকে জিম্মি করে ফেলেন। জিম্মি এ ব্যাংক কর্মকর্তাদের মধ্যে তিনজন নারী এবং একজন পুরুষ। নিমেষেই ব্যাংকের অভ্যন্তরে এক প্রচণ্ড ভীতিকর পরিস্থিতির সৃষ্টি হয়। সবাইকে জিম্মি করে আসামী Jan-Erik Olsson মুক্তিপণ দাবি করে। তিনি পুলিশকে শর্তারোপ করেন যে, তার ডাকাত বন্ধু Clark Olofsson কে তার কাছে এনে দিতে হবে। এরসাথে ৩ মিলিয়ন সুইডিশ ক্রোনার; বুলেট-প্রুফ ভেস্ট; দুইটি অস্ত্র; হেলমেট; পালিয়ে যেতে একটি গাড়ির ব্যবস্থা করে দিতে হবে।

দুঃখজনক হলেও সত্য, এভাবে হাজার বছর ধরে হিন্দু সম্প্রদায় ‘স্টকহোম সিন্ড্রমে’ ভূগছে। যে বিদেশি সাম্রাজ্যবাদী আগ্রাসনে মন্দির বিধ্বস্ত হয়েছে, নালন্দা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এবং তার সুবিশাল গ্রন্থাগার বিধ্বস্ত হয়েছে। অথচ আজ আমরা ইতিহাসে তাদেরই গুণগান করছি, বীরত্বগাঁথা প্রকাশ করছি।সাম্রাজ্যবাদী অত্যাচারীর সঙ্গে সহমর্মিতা, বন্ধুত্ব, ভালোবাসা কখনো হয় না। এ সরল কথাটি এ ভূখণ্ডের মানুষেরা অধিকাংশ আজও বুঝতে পারেনি।যদি অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিতভাবে ভালোবাসা হয়েই থাকে, তবে সেই ভালোবাসাকে বলে ‘স্টক হোম সিন্ড্রোম’। যা এক ধরণের মানসিক রোগ। প্রচণ্ড ভয় এবং লোভ থেকে এ রোগ উৎপন্ন হয়। কিন্তু আমাদের শাস্ত্রএমন অপরিণামদর্শীতা অদূরদর্শিতা স্বীকৃতি দেয় না। মহাভারতে সুস্পষ্টভাবে বলা হয়েছে, যে মানুষ যেমন প্রকৃতির তার সঙ্গে ঠিক তেমনভাবেই আচরণ করা উচিত।দয়ার প্রতুত্তরে দয়া দেখাতে হয়। আক্রমণের প্রত্যুত্তরে নিজেকে রক্ষার্থে আক্রমণ করলে কোন পাপ হয় না। বরং দেশ, জাতি এবং নিজেকে রক্ষা করাও ধর্ম। প্রতারকের সাথে প্রতারণার আশ্রয় নিলে কোন পাপ হয় না।

যস্মিন্ যথা বর্ত্ততে যো মনুষ্য-"যে মানুষ যে মানুষের সঙ্গে যেমনভাবে চলে, সেই মানুষের সাথে ঠিক তেমনভাবেই চলা উচিত, এটাই ধর্মের নিয়ম।সাধুর সাথে যেমনি সাধুতাই একমাত্র শ্রেয়, তেমনি মায়ার আশ্রয় নেয়া কপটের সাথে কপট ব্যবহার করা একান্ত আবশ্যক।

নিজদের গৌরবদীপ্ত ইতিহাস না জানায়, হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে আজও স্টোকহোম সিনড্রোম নামক মানসিক রোগে আক্রান্ত হওয়ার প্রবণতা বেশি। তবে কোন এক অজানা কারণে নারীদের মধ্যে এ প্রবণতা অত্যন্ত বেশি।যে প্রতিনিয়ত দেখছে তার মন্দির ধ্বংস হচ্ছে, সাম্প্রদায়িক আক্রমণ হচ্ছে। সেই আক্রমণকারীদের ছেলেমেয়ে, নাতিপুতিদের সাথে প্রেমের সম্পর্কের জালে জড়িয়ে মোহান্ধ হয়ে যাচ্ছে আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তি বা তার উত্তর পুরুষেরা। একটি বাস্তব দৃষ্টান্ত দিলে বিষয়টি সুস্পষ্ট হবে। ১৯৭১ সালে হিন্দু অধ্যুষিত অঞ্চলে পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী এবং তাদের এদেশীয় দোসর রাজাকারদের দ্বারা ব্যাপকভাবে গণহত্যা সংগঠিত হয়।জোর করে অসংখ্য নারীদের ধর্ষণ করা হয়, অঙ্গহানি করা হয়, ধর্মান্তরিত করা হয় এবং হত্যা করা হয়। কিন্তু ১৯৭১ সালে রাজাকারদের দেশ-জাতি বিরুদ্ধ ঘৃণ্য বর্বরোচিত কর্মকাণ্ড সত্ত্বেও পাকিস্তানি বাহিনীর দোসরদের বর্তমান প্রজন্মের প্রতি অনেক নির্যাতিত পরিবারের সদস্যরাই প্রেমের সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে যাচ্ছে। এ প্রেমের সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে গিয়ে সেই রাজাকার পরিবারে বিয়ে করে তাদের পরিবারের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাচ্ছে। সম্পূর্ণ ভুলে যাচ্ছে ১৯৭১ সালে তাদের পরিবারের সাথে ঘটা অন্যায়ের ইতিহাস। রাজাকারের সাথে সাথে বিভিন্ন সময়ে যারা সুযোগ বুঝে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের বসতভিটা ব্যাপকভাবে আক্রমণ করেছে; একটু খুঁজলেই সেই ব্যক্তিদের পরিবারে আক্রান্তদের পরিবারে জন্ম নেয়া কাউকে পাওয়া যায়। অনেক কুখ্যাত রাজাকারের পরিবারে আজও অনেক সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের ধর্মান্তরিত নারীকে পাওয়া যায়। যাদের দ্বারা পারিবারিকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত, দিনশেষে সেই পরিবারে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাওয়া বিষয়টি অত্যন্ত লজ্জার। রাজাকার বংশের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাওয়া এ বিষয়টি কোন ধর্মের দৃষ্টিতে না দেখে, আমরা যদি মুক্তিযুদ্ধের অসাম্প্রদায়িক চেতনা এবং আত্মসম্মানবোধের দৃষ্টিতে দেখি; তবেও বিষয়টি নিন্দনীয়। অপমান, দুর্ব্যবহার কালের পরিক্রমায় ক্ষমা করে দিলেও সম্পূর্ণ ভুলে যাওয়া উচিত নয়। ভুলে গেলে ঘটনাগুলোর একই পুনরাবৃত্তি পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের সাথেও বারবার হয়।

The human psyche is so diverse, the dynamics of this psyche are still not properly defined today and may never go away. Formulating people is one of the most difficult tasks in the world. As seen in the history of the world, very surprisingly those who have been persecuted by any person or community day after day; After some time, the victim and his descendants became loyal to the perpetrator. Surprising but true. Numerous instances of this phenomenon can be seen in the Hindu community, especially among the people of the Bengali Hindu community, in the aftermath of hundreds of years of subjugation to foreign imperialist aggression. Bengalis did not learn from Hindu history. So he keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. Stockholm Syndrome is a term used by psychologists to describe a group of people who have been subjected to severe torture and have become loyal to the perpetrators.
A syndrome is a type of special emotional state when a victim slowly begins to show sympathy for the offender for unknown reasons. Begin to love them. In this situation all the emotional symptoms can be noticed in the affected person which is very rare. The humiliated person becomes extremely weak and emotional towards the offender. He becomes anxious to cover up the crime. At that time, the tortured person no longer considers the perpetrator as a criminal. In many cases, they get married and start a family. August 23, 1973 Kreditbanken, the busiest bank in Stockholm, now known as Nordea Bank. The bank was attacked by an armed miscreant. His name was Jan-Erik Olsson, he is a professional criminal. He had been to jail many times before for various crimes. He entered with a sub-machine gun jacket inside his face mask. He first entered the bank and took four bank officials hostage. Among the hostages are three women and a man. Instantly, a frightening situation arose inside the bank. Defendant Jan-Erik Olsson demands ransom by taking everyone hostage. He demanded that police bring his bandit friend Clark Olofsson to him. Plus 3 million Swedish kronor; Bullet-proof vest; Two weapons; Helmet; You have to arrange a car to escape.
The incident went so far that the then Prime Minister of Sweden, Olof Palme, contacted the bank robber on the phone. He told the Prime Minister Johnson that if his conditions were not met, he would kill the bank officials. In this way various dramatic events took place for six consecutive days. The prime minister also spoke to a female banker and told her to take action to rescue them, adding that they were "terrified" by the robbers' behavior. About 131 hours later, on August 28, the four hostages were finally released. But then began their strange behavior. In an interview with the media after their release, it became clear that the four hostages, bank officials, had begun to mentally support their captors. They then began a mysterious rage against the law enforcement agencies. The incident goes even further. Bank officials started collecting money for the release of the criminals. One of the women fell in love with one of the abductors. In the aftermath of this shocking incident, the mental vulnerability of the abuser to the abuser began to be called Stockholm Syndrome in the world.
Sad but true, the Hindu community has been suffering from 'Stockholm Syndrome' for thousands of years. That foreign imperialist aggression has destroyed temples, universities like Nalanda University and its vast library. But today we are praising them in history, expressing heroism. Sympathy, friendship, love never happens with the imperialist oppressor. This simple word is not understood by most of the people of this land even today. Which is a kind of mental illness. The disease is caused by extreme fear and greed. But our scriptures do not acknowledge such recklessness. The Mahabharata clearly states that man should be treated as he is by nature. There is no sin in attacking oneself in response to an attack. Rather, defending the country, the nation and oneself is also a religion. There is no sin in cheating with a cheater.

In 1971, massacres were organized by Pakistani forces and their local allies in the Hindu-dominated region. Numerous women were forcibly raped, mutilated, converted and killed. But in spite of the heinous barbaric acts of the Razakars against the country and the nation in 1971, many members of the persecuted family are still in love with the present generation of Pakistani allies. After getting involved in this love affair, they got married to the Razakar family and became part of their family. Completely forgetting the history of injustice done to their family in 1971. Along with the Razakars, at various times those who saw the opportunity have attacked the homes of the people of the minority community extensively; If you search a little, you will find someone born in the family of the victims. Many infamous Razakar families still have proselytizing women from many minority communities. It is a great shame to be included in the family at the end of the day by those who are affected by the family. If we look at the issue of inclusion in the Razakar dynasty from the point of view of any religion, if we look at the non-communal consciousness and self-respect of the liberation war; However, the matter is reprehensible. Insults, abuses should be forgiven in the course of time but should not be completely forgotten. When forgotten, the same recurrence of events is repeated with the next generation.
