পঞ্চঋণ ও পঞ্চযজ্ঞ কি | What is Pancha Rin and Panchayajna? - Bengal Hindu
অনেক হিন্দু বলে থাকেন যে, মুসলমানদের সমাজ ব্যাবস্থা কতো ভালো। তারা নিয়মের মধ্যদিয়ে জীবন অতিবাহিত করে। তারা যার কাছে ঋনি তার ঋন শোধ করে। আর হিন্দুরা কৈষ্ঠা, হিন্দুগো কোন নিয়মই নাই। যে যার মত বানায় নিছে। কারো থেকে ঋন নিলে শোধ করবার কোনো নাম নেয়না। আমার প্রশ্ন এই হিন্দুদের কাছে, তোমরা অন্য ধর্মের প্রশংসা করার জন্য নিজ ধর্মের নিয়ম গুলো না জেনেই যে মন্তব্য করো এটাকি সুশিইখিত মানুষ কোনোভাবে করে? তুমি কি কখনো নিজ ধর্ম সম্মন্ধে জানার চেষ্টা করেছো? শুনো ভাঙা কলসি বাজে বেশি।
বৈদিক শাস্ত্র অনুসারে প্রতিটি মানুষ পাঁচটি ঋণ নিয়ে জন্মগ্রহণ করে।
(১) দেবঋণঃ দেবতাদের কাছে ঋণ; দেবতাদের পূজা প্রার্থনা ও হোম-যজ্ঞাদি দ্বারা এই ঋণ শোধ করতে হয়।
(২) ঋষিঋণঃ মুনি-ঋষিদের কাছে ঋণ; ঋষি প্রণীত শাস্ত্রাদি পাঠের দ্বারা এই ঋণ শোধ করতে হয়।
(৩) পিতৃঋণঃ পিতা-মাতা ও পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে ঋণ; জীবিত পিতা-মাতা ও পিতৃপুরুষদের সেবা এবং মৃতদের উদ্দেশ্যে শ্রাদ্ধ ও তর্পণাদি দ্বারা এই ঋণ শোধ করতে হয়।
(৪) নৃ-ঋণঃ আত্মিয়স্বজন ও প্রতিবেশিদের কাছে ঋণ; অতিথি সেবা এবং দুঃস্থ, আর্ত্ত, পীড়িত নরনারায়নের সেবার দ্বারা এই ঋণ শোধ করতে হয়।
(৫) ভূতঋণঃ পশুপাখি ও উদ্ভিদাদির নিকট ঋণ; মনুষ্যেতর প্রাণী, পশুপাখি এবং বৃক্ষ-লতাদির সেবা দ্বারা এই ঋণ শোধ করতে হয়। এই পাঁচটি ঋণকে একত্রে পঞ্চঋণ বলে এবং এই ঋণসমূহ শোধ করাকে পঞ্চযজ্ঞ বলে।

(3) Debt: Debt to parents and grandparents; This debt is to be repaid by the service of living parents and patriarchs and by shraddha and tarpanadis for the purpose of the deceased. (4) ethnic loans: loans to relatives and neighbors; This debt is to be repaid by the service of the guest and the service of the distressed, afflicted, suffering Narnarayan. (5) Land loan: Loan to animals and plants; This debt has to be repaid by the services of non-human animals, livestock and plants. Together these five debts are called pancha loans and repaying these debts is called pancha yajna.
