সেখানে কেবল কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের নেতাকর্মীরা এইসব ঘটনা ঘটায় অর্থাৎ ঘটনাগুলো কেবল ই রাজনৈতিক, সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে সেখানে সাম্প্রদায়িকতা নেই। অপরদিকে বাংলাদেশে এই ঘটনাগুলো অনেকগুণ বেশী হয় এবং হামলা করে সারাজীবন আপনার পাশে বসবাস করা প্রতিবেশীরাই। আর তাই বাংলাদেশের সাম্প্রদায়িকতা আসলেই অত্যন্ত মারাত্মক কারণ এখানে সাম্প্রদায়িকতা রাজনৈতিক নয় বরং আপনার আশেপাশের সব সাধারণ মানুষ ই বিপদজনক, যে মানুষটির সাথে সারাজীবন একসাথে বসে আড্ডা দিয়েছেন, চা খেয়েছেন সেই তারাই একদিন আপনার মন্দির ভাংতে চলে আসবে। গত অক্টোবরে কুমিল্লা ও নোয়াখালীর ঘটনার ভিডিওতেও আমরা দেখেছিলাম কীভাবে গ্রামের একদম ১২-১৫ বছর বয়সের ছোট কিশোররাও প্রকাশ্যে হিন্দুদের ভারত পাঠাও, রক্ষা নাই সহ উস্কানিমূলক স্লোগান দিয়ে দলে দলে হামলা করেছিল। আর তাই যারা কথায় কথায় ভারতের উদাহরণ দেন তারা বাস্তবে মিথ্যুক ছাড়া আর কিছুই নন।
