After the abduction of a Hindu schoolgirl belonging to ethnic community in Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur, a picture of the girl's face was posted on her Facebook. Mentioning the girl's name, it is said, 'There is no use in searching, she has been killed. It is known that the schoolgirl is scheduled to give the SSC exam in 2022 from Bankura High School. Last Sunday around 10 am, a person called the girl's mother's cell phone and asked her to send her to school. It is said that some students will be given money from the fund of the member of parliament. After a while, the call came again, as if he had rushed to school to take the money. Later he was sent to school. Then the girl was kidnapped. The schoolgirl's father filed a GD in Nalitabari police station in this incident.
The victim girl's brother, a garment worker in Gazipur said, "A few days ago, a man named Bari Mehdi in Gazipur called me on the mobile phone and said: I met your sister on Facebook. Then we became close. Your sister talked a lot with my mother. Now I heard that your sister has a relationship with someone else. But it's not going well. The girl's brother said, 'My sister was called to school that day by calling my mother from the same number that I was called. After that my sister was kidnapped.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nalitabari Police Station Bachir Ahmed Badal said, "We have received the masked picture of the girl." Everything is given to the experts. They are working. I myself am trying my best and everyone bless me to rescue my sister very soon.

শেরপুরের নালিতাবাড়ী উপজেলায় নৃতাত্ত্বিক জনগোষ্ঠীর এক হিন্দু স্কুলছাত্রীকে অপহরণের পর তার ফেসবুকেই ওই ছাত্রীর মুখ বাঁধা একটি ছবি পোস্ট করা হয়েছে। সেখানে মেয়েটির নাম উল্লেখ করে বলা হয়েছে, ‘খুঁজে লাভ নেই, ওকে মেরে ফেলা হয়েছে।
জানা যায়, ওই স্কুলছাত্রীর বনকুড়া উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে ২০২২ সালে এসএসসি পরীক্ষা দেওয়ার কথা। গত রোববার সকাল ১০টার দিকে মেয়েটির মায়ের মুঠোফোনে এক ব্যক্তি কল করে মেয়েকে স্কুলে পাঠাতে বলেন। কারণ হিসেবে জানানো হয়- সংসদ সদস্যের ফান্ড থেকে কয়েকজন শিক্ষার্থীকে টাকা দেওয়া হবে। এর কিছুক্ষণ পর আবার ফোন আসে, যেন দ্রুত স্কুলে গিয়ে সে টাকা নিয়ে যায়। পরে তাকে স্কুলে পাঠান হয়। এরপর অপহরণ করা হয় মেয়েটিকে। এ ঘটনায় নালিতাবাড়ী থানায় একটি জিডি করেছেন স্কুলছাত্রীর বাবা।
ভুক্তভোগী মেয়েটির ভাই গাজীপুরের এক গার্মেন্টসকর্মী বলেন, ‘কয়েকদিন আগে গাজীপুরে বাড়ি মেহেদী নামে এক লোক মুঠোফোনে কল করে আমাকে বলেনঃ আপনার বোনের সঙ্গে আমার ফেসবুকে পরিচয়। তারপর আমরা ঘনিষ্ঠ হয়ে গেছি। আপনার বোন আমার মায়ের সঙ্গে অনেক কথা বলেছে। এখন আপনার বোন অন্যের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক করেছে বলে শুনেছি। এটা কিন্তু ভাল হচ্ছে না।’ মেয়েটির ভাই বলেন, ‘আমাকে যে নম্বরে ফোন করা হয়েছিল, সেই একই নম্বর থেকে আমার মাকে ফোন করে ওইদিন আমার বোনকে স্কুলে ডেকে নেওয়া হয়। এরপরই আমার বোনকে অপহরণ করা হয়েছে।’
এ ব্যাপারে নালিতাবাড়ী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) বছির আহমেদ বাদল বলেন, ‘আমরা মেয়েটির মুখবাঁধা ছবিটি পেয়েছি। এক্সপার্টদের সবকিছু দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা কাজ করছেন।আমি নিজে ও সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি সকলে আশীর্বাদ করবেন বোনটাকে যেন খুব শীগ্রই উদ্ধার করতে পারি।
