Awami League and Jamaat leaders jointly led the attack on Baul Sadhak's house

An attack was carried out at the house of an 80-year-old recluse, Baul Sadhak, under the joint leadership of local Awami League leader and current chairman Moni Mia and his elder brother Jamaat leader Ali Mia at Nawagram in Kalia upazila of Narail district.

Last August 27 at around 10 o'clock local Awami League leader Moni Mia and Jamaat leader Ali Mia and their terrorist group ambushed the house of a Baul saint named Haresh Fakir. According to sources, the Jamaat leader has performed Hajj a few days ago.

During the attack, the miscreants smashed all the musical instruments in the saint's house and also injured Baul.

At present the old Baul saint is living in fear. No local came forward to help him during the attack. Talking to the locals, it is known that the attackers are very influential in the area.
