হিন্দুদের সূর্য প্রণাম নিয়ে ওয়াজের ভিডিওতে গোপালগঞ্জের কোটালিপাড়ার এক ছেলে কমেন্টে গালি দিয়েছিলো। কমেন্টেটি আমি দেখেছি। হিন্দুদের ধর্ম বিশ্বাস নিয়ে ঠাট্টা বিদ্রুপ যদি কারোর ধর্ম প্রচার হয় তো ক্ষুব্ধ কোন সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষ এরকম গালি দেয়ারও অধিকার রাখে যখন রাষ্ট্র তাকে বিমাতার মত আচরণ করে। News

কারণ ইউটিউব ফেইসবুক জুড়ে লক্ষ লক্ষ ওয়াজের চ্যানেল পেইজে হিন্দু ধর্ম নিয়ে খিস্তি করা হচ্ছে ধর্ম প্রচার, শিরকের বিরুদ্ধে দ্বিনের প্রচার, রাষ্ট্র যেখানে এই অঘোষিত ‘প্রথম শ্রেণীর সম্প্রদায়কে’ বিশেষ ধর্মীয় প্রচারের সুযোগ দিয়ে কেবলমাত্র নাস্তিক ও অন্য অমুসলিম ধর্ম সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে ধর্মীয় অনুভূতিতে সাড়া দেয় তখন একজন যুবকের গালি দেয়া ছাড়া উপায় কি? 

গোপালগঞ্জের ‘অধিকারী’ টাইটেলের হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের সেই যুবক প্রবাসী হওয়ায় তার উপর জিহাদ করতে না পেরে কোটালিপাড়ার তৌহদি জনতা এই ‘অধিকারী’ টাইটেলের হিন্দুদের বাড়িঘর ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠানে হামলা লুটপাট চালায়। এই লুটপাট কিন্তু দুইশোতভাগ হালাল কেননা এগুলো হচ্ছে মালে গণিমত। একাত্তর সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় ‘গণিমত’ শব্দটির সঙ্গে হিন্দুরা পরিচিত ছিলো। ভুল বললাম, ৪৬-৪৭ সালেই এই শব্দের সঙ্গে তারা ভালো করে পরিচিত হয়।

এই গোপালগঞ্জের হিন্দুরাই ৪৭-এ মালে গণিমতে পরিণত হয় মুসলিম লীগের হাতে। গোপালগঞ্জের ষাট ভাগই ছিলো হিন্দু। হিন্দুরাই ছিলো বড় ব্যবসায়ী, উকিল, শিক্ষক, বড় গৃহস্থ। ‘অসমাপ্ত আত্মজীবনীতে’ পাবেন এর স্বীকারোক্তি। তো এই হিন্দুদের না খেদাতে পারলে পাকিস্তান প্রতিষ্ঠা করা যাবে না- এটা মুসলিম লীগের তরুণতুর্কিদের মাথায় গেঁথে গিয়েছিলো। গোপালগঞ্জ বরিশাল খুলনায় ছিলো প্রচুর হিন্দু। এরা সব বিতাড়িত হয় মালে গণিমতের ভয়ে। 

গোপালগঞ্জ তারপর হয় ‘সেক্যুলারিজমের তীর্থস্থান’! বিস্তারিত আমি আর বলতে পারব না। বলার সময় এখনো আসেনি। পুরোনো ব্লগে সেসব বিস্তারিত লিখেছি। আজকে পুরোনো ইতিহাস থাক। হিন্দুরা ৬৬ সালে ৬দফার পর আওয়ামী লীগের একনিষ্ঠ সমর্থক বনে যায়। ‘শেখ সাহেব’ হয়ে উঠেন তাদের এই দেশে বসবাসের আস্থা ভারসার নাম। কেন এমনটা হিন্দুরা মনে করে নিয়েছিলো সেটি ঐতিহাসিকদের কাছে গবেষণার দাবী রেখে গেলাম। কার্যত সেরকম কোন কারণ ছিলো না আমার অনুসন্ধানে সেটাই বলে। যাই হোক, কোটালিপাড়ায় এই সাম্প্রদায়িক হামলার খবর মিডিয়াতে আসবে না বলাই বাহুল্য। আসেওনি। কিন্তু সোশাল মিডিয়াতেও কেন এলো না? বিস্ময়কর! আমার এক বন্ধু ছবিগুলি আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন হামলার পর। এসব দেখে বাংলাদেশ নিয়ে আমি কেমন করে আশাবাদের কথা বলব? মেট্রোরেল পদ্মাব্রিজ দিয়ে কি করব?
